I am 5ft5 and UK Size 16. Dress fits perfect, material is soft and comfortable to wear. It laces up at the front for design and adjusts at the back to give you a lovely figure. Bonus… IT HAS POCKETS!
I'm a 172cm tall transfemme, and usually wear a US 18-20 dress so I got a 2x Regular. It hugs my boyish shoulders much better than the Tauriel overdress does, and is the PERFECT length to gently waft along the floor in only my socks. I do need to be careful when getting up from a chair or if I bend over because I might step on the hem. I also think I need to buy the specific chemise for it, because my wife thinks the sleeves on the Tauriel chemise are ridiculous but I love 'em. My wife likes it on me more than the Tauriel overdress too. Might simply be because it's not black-on-black though. AND IT HAS POCKETS!!!
Perfect for a promenade through the gardens or a moonlit carriage ride. True to size. I'm about 180 lbs and got an XL -fits perfectly.
Adore the Bridgid Overdress! Extremely long though, at the moment I can only wear it with heels and it skims the floor. I'm not especially short either at 5foot 5. Soft fabric lovely quality
